Off Vehicle DPF Cleaning
We are now able to offer off vehicle DPF cleaning and offer three options:
- We can remove your DPF, clean dry and refit it. Then clear any codes and reset the vehicle adaptions. Finally, we road test the vehicle.
2. You bring your DPF to us and we will clean it and contact you when its ready for collection.
3. You send us your DPF we clean it for you and return it to you.
DPF BLOCKAGE + REGENERATION
Usually around every 300 miles or so the DPF will regenerate by super-heating the filter to burn off the contaminated particles that collect there as soot and ash. Most of the soot is then expelled through the exhaust as finer particles of harmless ash. However, it has been found that the regeneration process leaves residual ash behind in the filter. Each time a regeneration occurs more particles will build up in the filter.
Over time carbon will block the DPF and cause several issues with your engine.
